Treasurer’s Report (Alison Hastings for Heather Niedland)
Hay Fair and OWLidays were both very successful


Lower School Division Coordinator (Beth Yocum)
All School Open House held this Fall - visitors/tours for each Lower School grade
Lunch and recess duty opportunities are available - contact Carol Hillman for details
Spirit Week was a  success - many Lower School families attended the Pep Rally and other events
Health screenings took place 11/14
OWLidays was a success with many Lower School parents participating
January class coffees will be combined (PK and K; 1st and 2nd; 3rd and 4th)
Donna will discuss the year so far and what to expect in the Spring and Fall
Encourage all LS families to attend
Next PC Meeting is in February
Little Owls event this Saturday (11/18) in the Wonder Lab
Thanksgiving Break begins 11/21; classes resume Tuesday, 1128

12/14 - Lower School Concert
12/20 - Winter break begins 
1/3 - Classes resume
1/5 - Women in Wax
1/9 - PreK/K Coffee
1/11 - !st/2nd Grade Coffee
1/15 - MLK Day - no classes but opportunity to participate in service project
1/18 - 3rd/4th Grade Coffee
1/22, 23, 24 - MAP Testing

News from Donna
Looking for additional opportunities for field trips - if you have an idea, feel free to email Donna 
Assemblies are held Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons and are open to parents
Affinity Groups began this week
Outlined during assembly presentation by Donna and letter home - please let Beth know if you did not receive letter


Middle School Division Coordinator (Erin Hinckle)

Important Dates:
11/21 - Thanksgiving Break begins
11/28 - Classes resume
12/5, 7 and 8 - MS Musical auditions (open to 7th and 8th grade)
12/8 - MS Service Bazaar 
12/13 - MS/US Holiday Concert (mandatory for 5th and 6th grades)
12/20 - Winter Break begins

January Class Coffee dates are TBD
Report cards will be available in December


Upper School Division Coordinator (Sharon Shaver)
SpeakUp event was well attended
SSP brochure is out and applications were due 11/16
New this year - Friday Forums
Opportunity for girls to discuss sensitive topics
Led by Mr. Frank
Girls can submit questions anonymously
Each US girl is asked to attend at least one Friday Forum during the year
Parents and students are being asked to review the US Handbook
US Musical, Legally Blonde, is this weekend

1/12 - 9th/10th Grade coffee

It has been a great Fall for events - Hay Fair and OWLidays were both very successful

Book Fair
Event will move back to campus this year
Date TBD, but likely late January
Considering options to accommodate working parents who cannot attend during the school day
Possible event the evening before the Book Fair starts 
Possible early morning and/or evening hours

Staff Appreciation
MS/US Staff Appreciation Day is 2/7
LS Staff Appreciation Day is 2/14
Cater/prepare lunch for faculty and staff to enjoy together
Opportunities for donations and volunteers 

Next PC Meeting is February 2 at 8:15am
