AIS PC Meeting Minutes
February 14, 2019

Welcome (Sara Glaser)
•January Class Coffees were a success - thanks to all who attended and planned them
•Staff Appreciation Lunches were held over the last two weeks (MS/US on 2/6 and LS on 2/13) and were successful
•PC Nominations for 2019-2020 open now - send email to pcnominations@agnesirwin.org to nominate yourself or another parent

Upper School Division Coordinator (Sara Glaser for Sharon Shaver)
US Highlights:
•Kindness Week, two weeks ago, included The Great Kindness Challenge, activities pro-moting kindness and respect, and The Philly Phanatic as a surprise guest at the Friday as-sembly.
•That week also included a friendly flag football championship and a wing eating contest between grade levels.
•Prom 2019 will be held on April 13 at JG Domestic.
•Wednesday, February 13, was a pilot day for the new US academic schedule.
•The US play, The Trials of Anastasia in the Court of Women, was performed February 7-10.
•This week, the BSU is highlighting Black History Month with special activities and a dance on February 15.
•In mid-March, those running for student government will present their speeches to the US. Student government positions are the only leadership positions voted on by the whole stu-dent body.
•Student evaluations are collected on both SSP Week and CiA Day.
•MS/US Staff Appreciation Lunch on February 6 was a great success.

•Sign ups now open for LS Parent/Teacher Conferences (3/14-3/15)
•Summer at AIS camp registration is open
•Camp is for boys and girls of all ages
•Runs from 6/10 through 7/26
•Agnes Gives Day - Tuesday, 3/12
•Opportunity for the entire community to come together for a day of giving
•Matching gifts will be set at different levels

•Staff Appreciation Lunches were very successful
•Thanks to all who donated and volunteered
•Spring Market (March 7; Preview Night March 6)
•Great vendors this year - many new (full list available on website)
•Preview Party open to families from 5-6:30 ($10 for adults, children are free); beginning at 6:30, wine will be served - tickets for cocktail portion of the evening are $25
•Shopping all day (10am-4pm) on March 7 ($10 entry fee)
•RaisE (April 12)
•Kickoff party 2/26 at 6pm at 627 Conestoga Rd
•Please buy your tickets as soon as they are available - this event always sells out!
•MayFair (May 17)
•Planning is underway
•Parent volunteers needed - especially during dances when MS students come for lunch; sign up genius available soon
