AIS-EA Day Spirit Week is in full swing for US students

Pep Rally and Fall Team Dances tonight (5:30pm Volleyball Game; 6pm Pasta Dinner; 6:30pm

Dance Competition)

Dr. Hill issued a letter to address the community’s angst following the Presidential Election

76% of the student body voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton in the mock election and expressed

disappointment and fear regarding Donald Trump’s win

11/18-19                US Musical, The Addams Family, West Wilke Theater, tickets available online

11/21                     US Winter Sports begin

11/21                     US Parent Conversation with Jen Fiorini and JoAnne Hoffmann, 7-8pm

Middle SchoolAlison Hastings for Melissa Parker, MS Coordinator

MS Can Drive is currently underway with a goal to collect 2,000 cans

11/4                       7th Grade Culture Week Event

12/5                       MS Winter Concert

Lower SchoolBeth Yocum, LS Coordinator

AIS-EA Day will be considered a regular school day.

LS girls will enjoy a pizza lunch at 11:30am in the Student Life Center and will then break into small, chaperoned groups to cheer on the cross-country, tennis and field hockey teams. The girls will then be escorted back to the LS for regular carline dismissal starting at 2:30pm. Contact Carol Hillman (chillman@agnesirwin.org) if you can volunteer as a chaperone.

Pre-register online or register the day of at the Barn at Valley Forge Flowers

9am, Check-in and shopping begins at the Barn at VFF (Discounts available 9am-9pm)

Be sure to pick up your shopping bag, as it doubles as your receipt and entitles you to a

20% discount at most Eagle Village shops, as well Deconstructed Living, Louella, Main

Point Books,  Rhoads Crossing and Wayne Sporting Goods in Wayne Village.

5pm, Cocktail Party & Raffle Entry at the Barn at VFF, Enjoy pre-shopping wine and appetizers

9pm, Coffee/Dessert and Raffle Drawings

Encourage friends from anywhere to participate

Volunteer to work a check-in shift through Sign-Up Genius

AIS-ON continues to be a work in progress but PC is working with the school to get ALL information on one page. In the meantime, parents much be diligent about reading all emails and frequently visiting the website. Make it a weekly habit to check AIS-ON!!

Discussion regarding email and PC meeting minute effectiveness

ParentsCouncil is aggressively increasing its social media presence, as there is a direct correlation between social media posts and parent participation. Encourage people to like pages and track events on the social media site of their choicebut please be wary of the public nature of social media!
