Dear Kindergarten Families,

 

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! I hope your girls are looking forward to starting school in a few weeks. It's going to be an amazing year! As I mentioned in my previous email, I will be the Kindergarten class parent. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have throughout the year. If I don't know the answer, I can hopefully point you in the right direction! 

 

This email will give you some information and important dates that you need to start the school year. I look forward to meeting all of you soon!

 

AIS- ON

If you have not done so already, please log on to AIS-ON, the school’s internal communication system, and be sure to update personal information, sign up for alerts and complete outstanding forms. If you have trouble logging on, please contact Director of Technology, Dr. Tom Weissert, at tweissert@agnesirwin.org

Key Back-to-School Dates

• Sept 3rd- Lower school New Student Orientation 1:30-2:30 (Casual dress) 
• Sept 4th- Classes begin : Dismiss @ noon
• Sept 5th - Dismiss @ noon

• Sept: 6th- Dismiss @noon 
  • CLASS PLAYGROUND PARTY!! We will meet at Clem Macrone Park (810 Conestoga road) immediately following dismissal. I will brings some snacks but please feel free to “break in” her new lunch bag and pack a picnic lunch if you want. Please feel free to send your daughter with her caregiver if you are at work that afternoon.
• Sept 10th – Lower School Informational Coffee at 8:30 am
• Sept 17th- Lower School Picture Day
• Sept 19th – Lower School Parent's Night

• Sept 30th-  NO SCHOOL- Rosh Hashanah 
• Oct 9th – NO SCHOOL – Yom Kippur
• Oct 18th- NO SCHOOL- Parent Teacher Conference
• Oct 3rd – Agnes Irwin Golf Outing / Fundraiser at Sunnybrook Golf Club

Dress Code

The lower school dress code is available for your review on AIS-ON. 

You can consider purchasing new uniforms at the School Store prior to the start of school on

August 19-23: 8 am to 2 pm

August 26-28: 8 am to 2 pm

August 29: 8 am to 12 pm

September 3: 7:30 am to 3 pm 

The RenAISsance Store at 672 Conestoga Road sells gently used uniforms, and is open on the following dates and times:

20th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

21st - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

27th - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

28th - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
