Next Leadership Assembly is Oct 16th launching Communication & Listening. No change with Halloween parade on 10/31: 1:30-2:45pm Buddy Bench ambassador program will begin (grades 1-4) PALS program to launch, run by Ms. Beaman: Upper School volunteers are matched to a lower school buddy. LS Homeroom teacher may nominate a student and why they should be nominated. Trying to match students with shared experiences. MAP testing completed. Will use these tests to help determine if a student needs a specialist - notified around parent teacher conference. Learning Specialist position has been narrowed to a few finalists Dismissal changes must be submitted to Carol Hillman before noon Receptionist area does not open until 7:30am October 10th is picture retake. Notify Carol Hillman for a retake Hayfair is Friday, November 1st 3-6pm. HAY FAIR is the kick-off event for AIS/EA Day Spirit Week and will include free family-friendly activities, a silent auction and live music. The event is open to the entire community. Many of the activities like square dancing, corn hole and pumpkin ring toss will be free of charge and some will have a cost associated with them like the special attractions and baked goods booth! is important that every family attending this event make a reservation.
