Dear AIS 5th Grade Class Parents,
Happy October! We are almost officially a the “mid-semester” point which is hard to believe.
Parent-Teacher conferences are right around the corner.
Attached are the key upcoming middle school and Parent Council events for the remainder of October and November.
Also provided are a few reminders and updates from our Middle School Director and the Middle School Deans for your review.
We would like to draw your attention to the following:
- Thursday, October 10th – AIS Parent Council Meeting (all parents invited/encouraged to attend)
- Friday, November 1st – 3:00 – 6:00 PM/Upper School Gym – HAY FAIR

- Week of November 4th – AIS Spirit Week
- Thursday, November 7th – 5:30 – 7:30 Faculty/Student volleyball game, Spaghetti dinner, Pep Rally/Team dances (Upper School Gym/SLC)
- Friday, November 8th – AIS/EA Day at Episcopal Academy – MS/US students dismissed at 12:00. Competition starts at 12:30 PM. All parents, student, alumnae welcome.
- Sunday, November 10th - 5th Grade Class Cocktail Party/Sunday Funday – Add in details
- Wednesday, November 13 – OWLidays at Eagle Village
- 6th Annual OWLidays fundraiser; Shop ALL day with 20% discount at participating stores/Mingle at the evening cocktail party and shop until 9:00 PM!
