They'll bring all the sound equipment and even learn one or two of your favorite songs to play at the party. Make your next celebration one for the ages with The Undecided.

Dinner and a Song

Dinner for 10 cooked in your home by Iron Chef Competitor Nick Curtin. Choose an evening between September 10 and December 10, 2012. Food provided by chef, beverages provided by host. No holiday parties, please.

Entertainment for this special night will be provided by a private performance with the Bel Cantos.

Chef Nick Curtin grew up with a passion for food and cooking. In college, this passion became a career when Curtin took his first job in the kitchen at La Laiterie, a small, product-driven bistro in his hometown of Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Political Science. Curtin then began working at the then Michelin-starred Perry St, a Jean-Georges Vonerichten restaurant, where he honed his technical skill and palate.

Curtin left Perry St to work as Sous Chef at the intimate Jack’s Luxury Oyster Bar, part of Jack Lamb’s East Village mini empire. It was at Jack’s that Curtin was able to create his own dishes and manage staff for the first time.

At the young age of 23, Curtin was hired to run the then unnamed Compose as Executive Chef. There, he built the menu and team and helped design the restaurant and kitchen.Upon opening Compose, Curtin was featured in numerous articles in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Travel and Leisure and Esquire. He also received rave reviews for his food and work at Compose in the New York Times and Bloomberg, and recently competed in the Food Network classic, “Iron Chef America.”

Chef Curtin creates beautiful plates with flavor profiles that pursue the evocation of nostalgia. His goal each night is to provide each and every one of his guests with a truly special and wonderful experience.
