Dear AIS 7th Grade Families,
Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! We hope this year will bring academic and athletic achievements as well as many wonderful memories.
We are your class parents for the year and hope to keep you well-informed.
Our daughters are Priya Johnson, who entered AIS in 6th grade, and Brooke Wolitarsky, who came to AIS in 1st grade.
Agnes Irwin has been a wonderful experience for our girls and we hope that our new families find the same.

out each week should be your primary sources of information. Within AIS-On, the Middle School Resources Board should be the first stop for all things Middle School.

- Tuesday, September 3rd – 8:30 – 10:30 AM New 7th Grade Student Orientation
- Thursday, September 5th – 6-8th Grade Fall Sports Meeting with Coaches
Please reference this week’s Back-to-School Information email from the school and the letter from Cindy Bell.
- Friday, September 6th – Fall Sports Practices Start
- Thursday, September 12th @ 8:15 AM Middle School Parent Informational Coffee
This will be time well spent as the Head of Middle School, Cintra Horn, Middle School Deans and Department Heads
provide an overview of the year and new developments. All parents are encouraged to attend.
- RenAISsance Store Hours – Please check the provided calendar for August through November RenAISsance sales/store hours.
Class of 2025 Parent Party: We will be scheduling a parents’ cocktail party in the next couple of months.
If ANY of you would like to volunteer to open your home for the event, we would be grateful. Please let us know.
Parent Council: As a reminder, all parents are members of the AIS Parent Council and are encouraged to volunteer,
attend meetings and be a part of the community as schedules and interest permit.
The AIS Parent Council calendar with events and meeting dates is attached.
