COOKING AND WINE EXPERIENCE FOR EIGHT

Chef Donna Laveran P`19 `21, of Lazy Susan Kitchen, will demonstrate how to cook perfect Spanish tapas, Jen Bowers Nonemaker P’27 will guide you guide you through a wine tour of Spain, and how to pair the tapas with unexpected Spanish wines straight from her cellar. You will gather in your kitchen and follow Donna through the preparation of these dishes. You and your guests will then enjoy these treats with the selected wines.

Donna is an Agnes Irwin past parent, a cooking instructor, private chef and menu developer based in Haverford, PA. She turned her passion for home cooking into a part-time career. Donna is a graduate of the Leiths School of Food & Wine in London, England.

Jen spent over 15 years in the wine business in a variety of capacities. She has traveled to wine producing areas in Italy and France where she was struck with the simplicity of pairing local food with local wine.

Attention Philadelphia sports fans! This is the item you have been waiting for!! This auction item includes four tickets to a 2023 PhiladelphiaEagles home game in section 101 Row 18, seats 7-8 and Row 19 seats 7-8. It also includes four tickets to a Philadelphia Phillies home game in the Diamond Club with a $30 food credit per ticket and an Alec Bohm signed baseball bat. The Diamond Club features VIP seats situated between the dugouts with upscale dining.

SLEEPOVER/SLEEP UNDER AT AGNES IRWIN

Win a sleepover/sleep under at the school for your daughter's entire grade! The girls will enjoy games, movies, and a scavenger hunt along with pizza, snacks, and breakfast. This will be a night they will remember and talk about at graduation!

Organize the parents in your daughter’s grade to all contribute to this amazing experience that is sure to be a hit!

ULTIMATE PHILADELPHIA GOLF EXPERIENCE

This package is for the ultimate golf enthusiast. Philadelphia has some of the best golf courses in the country, and the winner of this package will have the opportunity to play at these prestigious courses with two friends over the next year. We are thrilled to offer the following golf experiences:

1.     A round of golf for 3 and lunch at Gulph Mills Golf Club. Hank Smith P`09 `11 will share with you the experience of playing on what has been called “the hardest tee time to get in Pennsylvania” on this Donald Ross course in King of Prussia.

2.     A round of golf for 3 and lunch at Overbrook Golf Club. John Yocum P`27 `29 will join you and two friends as you tackle a course that has a rich history of great golf in the Philadelphia area. Overbrook Golf Club boasts several State Open and Amateur Champions, Senior Champions as well as Philadelphia Open and Amateur titles.

3.     A round of golf for 3 and lunch at McCall Golf Club. Jared Rudenstein P`28 `29 is excited to share with you and your two friends “Delaware County’s best kept golfing secret”. This private Donald Ross Course was originally designed in 1919 to be a course exclusively for PECO employees. The winner of this package will be challenged by this wonderful course.

4.     A round of golf and lunch for 3 at Aronimink Golf Club. Wesley Wyatt P`34 `36 will play and share with you the rich history associated with this course that has hosted the 1962 PGA Championship, the 1977 U.S. Amateur and the 2003 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Aronimink was also the site of the PGA tour’s AT&T National in 2010  and '11 the  2018 BMW Championship, and the 2020 KPMG Women's PGA.

5.     A round of golf for 3 and lunch at The Union League National Golf Club in Cape May Court House, NJ. Jim Lawson P`34 will host you at this New Jersey shore based golf club. This club, formally known as Sand Barrens, will be quite the challenging course with over 100 acres of sand in its bunkers and wastes areas. 

6.     A round of golf for 3 and lunch at Stonewall Golf Club. Phil Keidel P`27will share with you his love for golf as you play this challenging course in Chester County. The course will be at peak performance as it is getting ready to host the US Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship in September 2023.

7.     A round of golf for 3 and lunch at Merion Golf Club’s East course. Sean McCarthy P`18 `20 `23 `26 is excited to share with you what Golf Digest considers the 6th best golf course in the United States. This course has hosted 19 USGA Championships and now it is your turn to play where the best in the world have competed.

8.     The winner of this package will receive a complementary spot in the Agnes Irwin Golf Outing at Sunnybrook Golf Club in Plymouth Meeting on September 27, 2023.

Also included in this package is a Ping G430 Driver and an Agnes Irwin Golf umbrella.

Restrictions: The winner does not need to redeem in the order presented above. Reservations at restaurants must be made in advance by the winner of this package. Philadelphia Orchestra tickets are select concerts chosen at the discretion of management at either Verizon Hall or the Digital Stage. Cooke and Berlinger is a mutually agreed upon date and purchases must happen the night of the party. Longwood Gardens two tickets timed entry not required must be used by September 5, 2024. Tickets are not valid for specially ticketed events on weekends during A Longwood Christmas or December 25th – January 3rd.
