Happy Friday 1st Grade Parents!
I wanted to send out an e-mail letting you know that I will be the 1st grade class parent this year! I am excited for another great year for our girls!! I hope everyone has had a great summer. I know Lilly is excited to get back into the swing of things and see all of her friends! I have a lot of information to pass along so please bear with me as I get through it all

First, I wanted to invite everyone to a playground playdate to get the girls together on Monday, August 26th from 4-5:30pm at Clem Macrone Park! I will bring drinks and snacks for the girls! Please let me know if you are able to make it. I look forward to seeing you all there & catching up!

I know that September is a busy month for everyone as we get back into the swing of the school year and this year it is especially so because of the celebration of Agnes Irwin’s 150th Anniversary! Please attend and participate as your schedule allows!
- Tues, Sept. 3rd, 1:30-2:30pm: Lower School New Student Orientation - A welcome for all new students for the 2019-2020 school year
- Wednesday, Sept. 4th: First Day of School
- Thursday, Sept. 10th, 8:15am at 672 Conestoga Road: LS Informational Coffee hosted by Parents’ Council
- Tuesday, Sept. 17th: LS Picture Day
- Thursday, Sept. 19th, 7-8:30pm at the LS: Lower School Parents’ Night (Parents only event)
- Friday, Sept. 20th, 5-7pm at Irwins: Founder’s Day Festival - First official event to kick off Agnes Irwin/s 150th Anniversary celebration! There will be a family barbecue and a special performance of Agnes Irwin: The Musical
- Saturday, Sept. 21st, 9-2pm at Irwins: Ready, Set, Go - A day celebrating 150 year of girls in action that will kick off with a family yoga session, and be followed by our Upper School
fall sport teams competing for the blue & gold!
- Sunday, Sept. 22nd, 2-5pm at The Agnes Irwin School Gymnasium: Founder’s Day Convocation - A ceremony marking 150 years to the day that our founder opened the doors to
what would become The Agnes Irwin School. Students do not need to register for the event; however, families of students must register
- Monday, Sept. 30th: Rosh Hashanah - NO SCHOOL!
Important Parents’ Council Events for First Half of the Year
- Thursday, Oct. 2nd: Golf Outing - off campus at Sunnybrook Club and for parents only.
- Friday, Nov. 1st: Hayfair -At Irwins and is for all students and parents.
- Wednesday, Nov. 13th: Owlidays - Off campus at Eagle Village Shops.
RenAISsance Store Dates 2019
The RenAISsance shop is located at 672 Conestoga Road and sells gently used uniforms and Agnes Irwin gear. All of the profits benefit the Parents’ Council!
